Terms and Conditions

 

Payment of Orders:

Orders can be accepted and confirmed with a minimum initial non-refundable deposit of 50%. The full balance will be settled by agreed instalments prior to the collection/dispatch of goods. No goods may be removed from our premises until the full balance of the order has been paid. This agreement and all receipts must be retained. All goods ordered remain the property of Katherine Jo Design, until paid for in full. If full payment is not made within 90 days of the due date then the ordered items become the property of Katherine Jo Design and can be resold without prior agreement.

 

After the date of order, no responsibility can be accepted by the company for any changes which may occur in the customers' body shape, size or height. Once your order has arrived you will be contacted, following which your balance is due for payment and alteration appointments will be scheduled if required.

 

Cancellation of Orders:

After 7 days of order date, no changes can be made to the order and the customer will be liable for payment of the full balance on arrival/prior to dispatch. No exchange or reimbursement will be given; all deposits are non-refundable and will be detained. All stage payments made for bespoke/made to order items become non-refundable after the due date attached to each payment. Customers who change their mind are not entitled to a refund.

 

Delivery of Orders: 

Katherine Jo Design can not be held responsible for any delays in delivery times. Any delivery date quoted is only approximate and is subject to change. Delivery costs will be charged if applicable.

 

Alterations:

When buying garments you are under no obligation to accept this service. The full balance of the goods should be settled in full by the customer before any alterations may be carried out. Once alterations have been carried out this renders the goods unsuitable for re-sale and the customer is deemed to have accepted the goods prior to alterations being carried out.

 

All fittings require you to have appropriate shoes and correct underwear, to ensure garments are altered accordingly to your shape and height. If you arrive for a fitting with the incorrect shoes or underwear, the fitting will be cancelled until such time when you have these items with you. Fittings are strictly by appointment only.

 

Katherine Jo Design can not be held responsible for any alteration mistakes made as a result of measurements supplied by the customer. Any corrections will incur an additional charge. 

 

Katherine Jo Design cannot guarantee an exact colour match for any additional fabric required for alterations to your garment. 

 

Collection of Goods:

It is the responsibility of the customer to fully examine the goods before removing them from our premises, as once collected the customer is deemed to have accepted the goods. Katherine Jo Design will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to goods thereafter.

 

Bespoke/Made to Measure Items:

You are required to wear the correct underwear when we take your body measurements. All further fittings will be scheduled. All fittings require you to have appropriate shoes and correct underwear. Any design, fabric or body shape may incur additional costs. No design or fabric changes changes may be made after the final calico fitting. Katherine Jo Design will not continue to work on your order if you do not abide by agreed terms of payment. Work will only re-commence once payments are up to date. Katherine Jo Design can accept no responsibility for delays in progress due to you missing any fitting appointments or payments. 

 

Maternity:

Please inform Katherine Jo Design if you are (or think you may be) pregnant at date of order. If you fall pregnant at any time following placement of order please inform Katherine Jo Design at the earliest possible stage. Additional costs may be incurred. All information will be treated in confidence.

 

Sale Items:

All sale items are sold as seen at the time of purchase. No refund or exchange will be made as a result of any damaged or faulty goods once a payment has been made. (Please note, sale items could be faulty, soiled or damaged). 

Cancellation of promotions, promotional periods or sale events.

Katherine Jo Design reserve the right to cancel any event which promotes the reduction of prices - These events include but do not exhaust 'sale events' 'sales' 'promotional events' and 'offer(s)'. Prices can return to their RRP without notification to buyers. 

Colours, Fabrics and Lengths:

Katherine Jo Design can not guarantee an exact colour match. Colours and trimmings may vary from items/samples on display. Please note garments and fabrics ordered at different times may be subject to shade variations, due to batches/rolls of material changing, with this in mind customers must order at their own risk! Our sample dresses are only approximate in length and your gown may vary in length slightly. Katherine Jo Design can not be held responsible for changes to the standard length of the gown supplied by any company.
